This was a technique I enjoyed doing but found at time difficult to achieve the pattern or image I wanted on the material. It was a case of loosening off the footer on the sewing machine, changing it to straight stitch & changing the switch that ensures the grids arnt underneath the material to move it along. Then once your material was in a hoop you could apply anything you liked to the fabric.
